Saying goodbye to 2012

I can't believe this is the last day of 2012. What a year. My Sunshine started Kindergarten at a new school. He had a hard time adjusting but by November he was doing lots better. He was only sent home once for not respecting his classmates, and one time a phone call from the principle for calling his teacher a morron.
Tyler started his senior year and he turned 18. He has grown up to be such a amazing man. He is ending the year with 2 tattos( that I know of).God answered a amazing prayer with my teeth this year.God is good. My husband is my rock and my best friend. I think I am the luckiest girl in the world. I am praying for Gods blessing over 2013 and that His will be done in each of our lives. I hope we grow closer to each other and to God as a family. I pray we are all healthy both emotionally and spiritually and the end 2013.

Chirstmas Concert

Was woken up by Sunshine having a Christmas concert for one in my bed complete with hand signals and a occasional eyelid prying to see if I saw him demonstrating Santa Clause coming to town.

What not to say at school!

I haven't written in awhile, but wanted to jot this down so I would not forget it. Sunshine's school called today to let me know that Sunshine called his kindergarten teacher a morron. He said this because he wanted to be on green and he was on yellow. She told him he needed to make better choices so he called her a morron. She moved him promply to orange and than to the principles office where they called me. I let Sunshine watch Home Alone over Thanksgiving break and I think this is where he picked up this word, but Sunshine told his principle that his Dad says this in the truck!!!! to funny now that I know it is my dear husbands fault.

what a week!

This week has been a week like none other. Tyler Lee turned 18 yesterday. I can't believe that boy is now such a amazing man. I can not wait to see where his life takes him. I hope he had a great day. Today my Mema had surgery. She had a bad infection that set in, in her colon. She got a blockeage that had to be removed with surgery. She also recieved a colonostomy that they said can not be reversed. Are family is forever changed. She is such a amzing woman what a example she is to me of how I would like to be . Through this I have seen such a outpour of love and support from so many of her family and friends. All ages highschool boys to family that drove all night to get here. I am lucky to have both Mema and Tyler in my life.

Ist Day of Kindergarten

I can not believe today is Sunshines first day of Kindergarten. He was so grown up this morning. I have not seen him this excited ever to go to school. I just hope he is just as excited to go every day then you know he will do fine. We sent him to a new school. A public school. We said many prayers that God would lead us to the right school. I pray for his teachers and his new friends that he will be making and that Gods will ,will be done in his life. I know God has amazing things in store for him. I love you so much and your dad and I are so proud of the young boy you are becoming.

Man where has the days gone.
First our family had a wonderful time on vacation. We went to Porta Ransas, Texas with Christy and her family and with Tyler. We spent 4 days there. We swam in the ocean, swam in the pools, rented a buggie for the day, and ate lots a great food. We all had such a wonderful time. many times on this trip I heard this is the best vacation ever. Chanze had such a good time. He love s the water so much just like his Mother. I had some mental clutter to get rid of and the beach is the perfect place for it.

Also as of June the 12th my little sunshine is no longer sleeping in a toddler bed. His Dad and I moved him to a twin bed. He is growing up so fast. He is having a great time at summer camp. He goes to tumblebus, swimmimg lessons,Hawaiian Falls, bowleing, movies, Kona Ice, and he got the part of a uppa luppa in the play Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I hope he is having the best Summer ever.

Our family is leaving on vacation for 5 days in Porta Ransas Texas. I can't wait. 5 wonderful days at the beach. no stress, no work, no school, no housework. We are going with Christy and her family and with Tyler. I love taking Chanze to the beach. I will spend this week reconnecting with my family and my God. I want to be a simpler person when I come back. I like to get rid of a lot of mental clutter while I am gone , and I think the beach is the best place for me to do that. I am going to do my best to let go of this giant fear and worry monster that has jumped on my back. And to let go of alot of the control of everthing I think I have to have.I know I set the tone for my family and I pray to God that I will be pleasent the whole time I am gone. I will Love on my husband and my son and show them how glad I am to be their Wife and Mother. Lord watch over us and keep us safe.

No Greater Joy

On May 22,2012 my Sunshine graduated from Pre-K. It was a wonderful evening. They wore green graduation robes just like I did when I graduated from highschool there in 1989. There theme was Phillipians 4:13"I can do all things through Christ who strenthenths me" What a great theme to launch him into Kindergarden. I cried and his Dad cried. It was a great night.
Sunshine will be leaving PCCC in August and starting Kindergarden in a new school. I hope to keep him excited about the move. He will be making all new friends. I hope he will remember to keep Christ first in his life and to remember to always be true to himself.
Hello Summer ..... Here We Come

Today was a really good day. Just a relaxing Saturday running errands. While we were out we bought Sunshine a happy meal to eat for lunch. While he was eating it he gave me something out of his mouth. I thought it was a little piece of a onion so I threw it away. It make a ding sound so I got it back out and it was his tooth. He is missing 2 teeth right now one on top and one on bottom.
also this week Sunshine started telling jokes. It is so cute. All his jokes start with "Knock Knock who there bannana bannana who" I love it. He is growing up so fast. I love the little man he is growing up to be.

It is Mothers Day 2012. Today is bitter sweet for me. The main thing is sunshine makes my life so much better. This day is a happy day because of him and Mr Wonderful. I have been a mom now for 5 years. There is no greater feeling then being a mom and I am extremely blessed and honor to be one. Sunshine gave me a card with his handprint in it with a poem he made at school. There is no greater card then a homemade one. Mr Wonderful gave me a card and a visa card I can use to get my books for my kindle. I spent the morning downloading all the books I have had on my wish list. Trully one of the best gifts he could of gave me. We had lunch at Mema's and then went to the cemetary to visit with my mom. I miss her so much I can't believe it has been 14 years since I have been with her. She sacrificed so much for me and she showed her love for me in so many ways.  I hope I make her proud. I love you MOM!!!! Happy Mothers Day

Take Care of your Teeth

Sunshine,
   This is for you and your kids. Please what ever you do take care of your TEETH. I am making you this promise today that I will do my best to teach you good teeth hygiene. I will take you to the dentist. We will get to know him so well you might even invite him to your wedding. I will make you brush your teeth even when you do not want to,and untill you can brush them adequately I will brush them for you.
 I am sorry to tell you but you come from a family with gum disease and gum disease is very costly.
So again what ever you do please take care of your teeth.

Yesterday was one of those day when you think the Lord smiled on you all day. Sunshine loss his front tooth . It has been loose for about a week but his dad was able to pull it out yesterday. We take pre-k graduation photos this Friday, He is going to look so cute with that missing tooth.
Also yesterday was Tyler's Junior prom. He looked so handsome. He is growing up so fast. We took pictures on the suspension bridge with his date and many other classmates from his highschool. It was lots of fun. I hope he made lots of memories he can remember for a lifetime.
Yesterday was also my Papas 79th birthday. We celebrated by going to Cotton Patch with the family and having bithday cookie at his house afterwards. I love him so much and hope he has many many birthdays to come.

To my Family

This is my first ever blog post. I am writing this to keep a record of all things about our life. The days are going by way to fast and there are memories I am forgeting. I want to try to record more so Sunshine will have more stories to pass on to his children. My intentions are not to embarrass anyone just to express how much I love each one of you. I hope this brings us closer as a family and many many joyful memories for years to come.
