Chanze

Chanze loss another tooth during the night. I found it on the floor in his bedroom when I was making his bed. It was a molar on the bottom first one on the right beside the four upfront. That baby of mine is growing up so fast.
When  Chanze went to bed he put his tooth beside his bed on his night stand.  He said his prayers and tried to go to sleep as fast as a could so the tooth fairy would come. I left the room and a little later I went to check on him and saw a bug run in his room. I tried to kill it and made a lot of noise in the process. Chanze jumped up and ask if I was trying to catch the tooth fairy.

Chanze and I was running errands and one of our errands was to get a specific gift Kenneth had asked for, for Christmas. I thought I knew where the store was but when I got there it had moved. I was getting new direction but it was taking a while because of a little confusion and Chanze was getting impatient. He finally said for me to just let dad tell Santa Claus to get it instead so we wouldn't have to worry with the directions. The ladies that were helping me started smiling and we all thought that would be a good idea .

What a beautiful weekend. The weather was perfect. Chanze and I went and saw Big Hero 6 with Christy and the cousins.. Today Chanze played outside for 8 hours. That is the first time in his 7 and a half years that has happened.
So today I am thankful for neighborhood kids that God has moved into the neighborhood.

Today I am thankful for my son's fascination with dog sledding. He has spent the day drawing different dog sleds. Some have booster some do not. They all have 6 dogs pulling them. What an amazing son he is.

One day this week Chanze was having steak fingers for lunch at school.He asked me what steak fingers were and I told him they were like chicken fried steak,but they were cut in strips like fingers.He said oh yeah I like them but can you call the school and tell them to keep his chicken fried steak. So cute

Today I am so thankful for the health of my family.

Goldee

Yesterday our family experience a milestone. Our goldfish died. Goldee was our goldfish we got at the Waco fair almost a year ago. Our family loved that fish. He was perfect for Chanze's first pet. He lived beside Chanze's bed in the same tank he came in. Chanze and his dad only had to feed him every night and occasionally clean out his tank. Chanze cried harder than I have ever seen him cry before. When he went to bed I crawled in bed with him and held him while he cried. He told me what a wonderful fish he was. He was a great swimmer and a great friend. He decided to get up and draw a picture of him to hang by his bed. This morning his dad and him buried Goldee in our backyard beside our sunflowers. Our family was so lucky to have Goldee as our goldfish and hope you felt as much love from us as we felt from you.

Whistle

Last night I heard a whistle.It freaked me out because everyone was a sleep except me.I tried to hear it again but I never did.I then remembered my mom had a whistle.Our family could be anywhere and we would hear that whistle and we knew to find each other.For the live of it I can not remember the exact whistle but I know we had one.I have not thought of that in 16 years.What a great memory. Just a reminder that they are still with me.

Week of March 2-9

This week started with Chanze's birthday party at Peter Piper.We had a wonderful time. His theme was Disney Dusty the plane.The party went great, regardless of the weather. While we were there a winter's storm blew in. We had sleet snow and ice for our ride home. Everyone got home safe. On Tuesday Chanze came home sick.This illness lasted all week. Wednesday was his birthday so we spent the day throwing up and watching movies. We made the best of it. Chanze was worried he was not 7 since he did not have his birthday. We reassured him he was 7 even if he is sick. By Saturday Chanze felt better so we went to El Conquistadors for his birthday supper. They put a sombrero on him and sang Happy Birthday. We had a great time. I can't believe our baby is 7. He is growing up to be such an amazing boy. I feel like I am the luckiest person in the world to get to be his mom. I love you

Man I can't believe my boy  is almost 7. He is growing up to be such a little man. My favorite thing with him is that he has changed his name to Russell. He signs his papers Russell at school.He also is trying to teach his pet fish how to bark.I swear he is so cute. Chanze's b day party is Sunday.I can't wait for him to feel the love everyone has for him on his day. He loves his birthday just like his mother does.This week is almost over and our fantastic bithday weekend can begin. I can't wait.
